Yiming Qin is an associate professor at the Eastern Institute of Technology, Ningbo. She obtained her Ph.D. from Harvard University in 2021, and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Irvine. Before joining the EIT she worked as assistant professor at the City University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on the development of novel in-situ mass spectrometry ionization techniques, atmospheric multiphase chemistry, aerosols, and air pollution. She was selected as Carnegie Mellon University Civil and Environmental Engineering Rising Star (launched at MIT) in 2022, and Seventeenth Atmospheric Chemistry Colloquium for Emerging Senior Scientists (ACCESS XVII) in 2023.
